Repair, Don't Just Conceal
This is the architecture of better skin.
In aesthetic medicine, we often focus on masking the signs of ageing—filling a hollow or freezing a line. Polynucleotides represent a shift in thinking. They do not mask the problem; they repair the cause.
I use Plinest, a highly purified polynucleotide gel derived from natural DNA fractions. When injected, these molecules communicate with your cells, instructing them to repair, regenerate, and reduce inflammation. It is like turning back the clock on the behaviour of your skin cells.
This is my go-to treatment for clients who feel their skin looks tired, crepey, or inflamed (rosacea), or for those wanting to treat acne scarring and general laxity.
The Science of Plinest
The Consultation
I assess the fundamental quality of your tissues. Are you suffering from laxity? Is there inflammation? Polynucleotides are versatile, but they require a commitment to a course.
The Treatment
I inject the product using micro-injections or a cannula, depending on the area. Plinest is entirely natural and fully biocompatible.
The Result
This is a slow-burn treatment. You are stimulating a biological process. You will start to see improvements in skin quality, brightness, and firmness after your second session, with the peak result appearing around 3 months after your course is complete.
Expert Guidance
Is this a filler?
No. A filler adds volume to change shape. Polynucleotides have no volumising effect. They thicken and improve the skin tissue itself.
Is it vegan?
No. Plinest is derived from trout DNA. It is highly purified and safe, but it is an animal-derived product.
Does it hurt?
The product itself has a slightly different pH to the skin, so some clients feel a mild stinging sensation upon injection, more so than with standard Profhilo or Fillers. This sensation passes immediately.
