The Forgotten Canvas
We treat our faces with care, but often ignore our backs.
The skin on our back is thick, prone to congestion, and impossible to care for properly on our own. Whether it is "bacne" from gym sessions, dryness from seasonal changes, or simply the desire to wear a low-backed dress with confidence, this area requires professional attention.
I created the Back Revive as a hybrid treatment. It combines the clinical deep-cleaning of a facial with the tension-relieving benefits of a massage. It is designed to decongest blocked pores, smooth rough texture, and lower your cortisol levels in a single, restorative session.
The Protocol
01. The Steam Cleanse
I begin with a double cleanse under steam. This softens the pores and prepares the skin, allowing me to remove the build-up of oils and impurities that daily showering often misses.
02. The Resurface
I perform a vigorous exfoliation to slough away dead skin cells and boost circulation. This instantly improves the texture of the skin.
03. The Clarity
If required, I perform manual extractions to clear blackheads and congestion spots, leaving the skin smooth and clear.
04. The Tension Release
Once the skin is prepped, I perform a relaxing back massage to work out knots and relieve the physical weight of the day.
05. The Nourishment
I finish with a hydrating moisturiser to lock in the results and restore the skin barrier.
Expert Guidance
Is this just a massage?
No. While the massage element is wonderful, this is primarily a skincare treatment. My focus is on the health, clarity, and texture of the skin on your back.
Who is this for?
Everyone. It is particularly popular with men (who suffer from congestion), brides (preparing for low-back dresses), and anyone preparing for a holiday.
Does it treat acne?
Yes. By deep cleaning and exfoliating, we remove the bacteria and dead skin that cause breakouts. For severe body acne, I may recommend a specific chemical peel add-on.
