The Battery Charger
Skincare charges the surface. Light charges the cell.
We often think of light as damaging (UV rays), but specific, controlled wavelengths of light are powerfully regenerative. I use Dermalux technology, which is clinically proven to stimulate specific cellular responses.
Think of your skin cells like a battery. When they are tired, damaged, or inflamed, they run flat. LED therapy recharges them (producing ATP), giving them the energy to repair themselves faster and function correctly.
Whether we are treating active acne, calming rosacea, or simply boosting collagen for anti-ageing, this is one of the most effective non-invasive tools in my clinic.
The Wavelengths
I do not use random colours. I use medical wavelengths.
Blue Light (415nm):
The anti-bacterial setting. It destroys the P.acnes bacteria that cause breakouts, reducing active acne without irritation.
Red Light (633nm):
The anti-ageing setting. It supercharges cell energy to accelerate collagen and elastin production, firming the skin and smoothing fine lines.
Near-Infrared (830nm):
The healing setting. Invisible to the naked eye, this light travels deep to calm inflammation, reduce redness, and speed up wound healing.
Expert Guidance
Does it get hot?
No. Unlike lasers which work by heat injury, LED is a non-thermal treatment. You will feel a gentle warmth, but it is incredibly relaxing. Many clients fall asleep.
Is it safe for pregnancy?
LED therapy is generally considered very safe. However, protocols vary. We can discuss this during your consultation.
Can I combine it?
Yes. LED is the perfect "add-on" to almost any facial. It calms the skin after Microneedling, Peels, or Dermaplaning, reducing downtime significantly.
