The Ultimate Canvas

Makeup is optional. Smooth skin is essential.

We spend hundreds of pounds on serums and foundations, but if they are sitting on top of a layer of dead skin and fuzz, they will never look their best. Dermaplaning changes that instantly.

Using a sterile surgical blade held at a precise 45-degree angle, I gently exfoliate the surface of the epidermis. This removes weeks of accumulated dead skin cells and the fine vellus hair that traps dirt and oil.

The result is skin that is impossibly smooth. Your skincare products absorb up to 60% better, and your makeup glides on like silk. It is the perfect "pre-event" treatment.

The Protocol

01. The Prep

I begin with a double cleanse to remove all makeup and oils. The skin must be completely dry and tight for the blade to work effectively.

02. The Blade

I work systematically around the contours of your face using short, feather-light strokes. It is painless and often feels like a gentle scratching sensation.

03. The Enzyme (Optional)

Depending on your skin type, I may apply a mild enzyme peel immediately after to dissolve any remaining protein bonds and deep clean the pores.

04. The Finish

Because the dead skin barrier is gone, your fresh skin is thirsty. I apply a medical-grade hydration serum and essential SPF protection.

Expert Guidance

Will the hair grow back darker?

This is the biggest myth in skincare. No. Vellus hair (peach fuzz) is biologically different from terminal hair (like eyebrows or beard hair). Cutting it does not change its structure. It will grow back at the exact same speed, colour, and texture as before.

Can I do this at home?

I strongly advise against it. "Shaving" your face with a drugstore razor is not Dermaplaning. A professional blade is sharper and removes the dead skin cells, not just the hair. Home tools often cause micro-cuts and infection.

Is it safe for acne?

If you have active, inflamed acne (pustules), we cannot Dermaplane over it as the blade will spread bacteria. However, it is excellent for preventing future breakouts by removing the dead skin that clogs pores.
