The Chemical Peel Facial
Resurface, reset, and reveal brighter skin.
The Investment
Treatment Cost
Chemical Peel Facial: £50
Time Required: 30 Minutes
Downtime: 0-5 Days (Dryness/Flaking)
Frequency: Recommended as a course of 3-6 for acne or pigmentation issues.
Controlled Renewal
Exfoliation, elevated.
Many clients are wary of chemical peels, fearing the aggressive "shedding" often seen in movies. The reality of modern, medical-grade peels is very different. My approach is about controlled resurfacing, not trauma.
I use specific blends of acids (such as Glycolic, Salicylic, or Lactic) to dissolve the glue that holds dead skin cells together. By gently removing this dull, outer layer, I force the skin to regenerate. This process unblocks pores, smooths texture, and stimulates fresh collagen production.
It is the ultimate "reset" button for skin that looks tired, congested, or lacks radiance.
Targeted Results
The Consultation
Peels are versatile. During our consultation, I select the specific acid profile for your concern.
Salicylic: For acne and congestion.
Glycolic: For anti-ageing and brightness.
Lactic: For sensitive skin and hydration.
The Treatment
After a thorough cleanse and degrease to remove oils, I apply the peel solution. You will feel a tingling or warming sensation—this is the active ingredients getting to work. I then neutralize the skin and finish with calming hydration and SPF.
The Result
Immediately, your skin will look cleaner and tighter (the "glass skin" effect). Over the next few days, you may experience mild dryness as the old cells shed, revealing the softer, fresher skin beneath.
Expert Guidance
Will my face fall off?
No. These are superficial to medium depth peels. You may experience some "micro-peeling" (like dry skin) around the nose and mouth for a few days, but you will not have sheets of skin falling off. You can go to work the next day.
Does it hurt?
It is not painful, but it is active. You will feel a "spicy" tingle or heat for about 3-5 minutes while the peel is on the skin. I use a fan to keep you comfortable.
Can I wear makeup after?
I strongly advise against wearing makeup for 24 hours. Your pores are open and your skin is absorbing everything. Let it breathe.
