I begin by assessing the strength of your bite. I need to determine if your square jawline is caused by muscle bulk (which I can treat) or bone structure (which I cannot). I will also discuss your history of teeth grinding or jaw clenching.
The Treatment
The procedure is quick and surprisingly comfortable. Unlike forehead injections which are superficial, these injections go deep into the belly of the muscle. Most clients feel nothing more than a dull pressure.
The Result
The results happen in two stages. Within 14 days, you should feel the tension release—waking up without a tight jaw or headache. The aesthetic slimming takes longer. As the muscle relaxes, it begins to shrink (atrophy). You will typically see the visual slimming effect between 4 and 6 weeks post-treatment.

Will I still be able to chew?
Yes. The Masseter is one of several muscles used for chewing. While I relax the main power muscle, the supporting muscles take over. You may feel a mild fatigue when eating very chewy foods (like steak) for the first few weeks, but normal function is unaffected.
Is it permanent?
No, but the results can be long-lasting. Because we are physically shrinking the muscle, the slimming effect tends to persist longer than standard anti-wrinkle treatments. Most clients return for maintenance every 4-6 months.
Does it hurt?
