Realistic Expectations
Immediate Gratification
Unlike injectable or regenerative treatments which take weeks to show results, the Signature Facial offers immediate gratification.
The Glow: You will leave the clinic with skin that looks plump, clean, and radiant. This "glass skin" effect typically lasts for 48-72 hours.
Long-Term Health: While one facial gives a boost, the true benefits come from consistency. Regular monthly facials help regulate oil production, keep pores clear, and maintain a healthy skin barrier.
Immediate Side Effects
Redness: Due to the massage techniques and steam used to stimulate circulation, you may look slightly flushed (pink) immediately after the treatment. This usually settles within 30-60 minutes.
Purging: Occasionally, when we deep cleanse the skin and increase cell turnover, the skin may "purge." This means a small breakout may appear a few days after the facial as deep congestion is brought to the surface. This is a good sign—it means the detoxifying process is working.
Adverse Reactions
Allergies: While I use hypoallergenic medical-grade products, allergic reactions are always possible. You must inform me of any known allergies (nuts, fruit acids, aspirin) during your consultation.
Sensitivity: If I use an enzymatic peel component, your skin may feel slightly tingly or sensitive for a few hours.
The Aftercare Rulebook
To maintain that fresh facial glow:
Do NOT apply heavy makeup for at least 12 hours (let the skin breathe).
Do NOT use exfoliating acids (AHAs/BHAs) or Retinol for 48 hours.
Do NOT pick at any purging spots.
Do NOT go to the gym or sauna immediately (sweat can irritate freshly exfoliated pores).
DO drink plenty of water to aid lymphatic drainage.
